HELLO MY NAME IS

If you’re reading this, you’re probably wondering who I am. Well, let me share a bit about myself.

I never really painted fruit bowls or followed any traditional rules when I first began on my art journey. Perhaps it was because I wasn’t quite sure if there was any chance for me to fulfill my dream of becoming an artist.
I simply loved creating things and witnessing the emotions people experienced when they saw my work. Unfortunately, everyone told me that artists can’t make a living, and I needed a proper education to secure a stable job.

I pursued a path in civil engineering, only to realize that my true passion had always been in art, in creating things, and in coming up with creative ideas and solutions. Now, I’m a self-taught and self-employed freestyle artist, allowing my creativity to flow without limitations or traditions. I’m constantly on the lookout for new inspiration from a multitude of sources, as I adore exploring and learning new things every day!

When I’m not busy improving my art skills, you can probably find me doing one of three things: seeking fresh sources of inspiration, shredding on my skateboard, or simply living life and spreading positivity and joy. I mean, who needs a plan when you love exploring the world and discovering new adventures every day, right?

Oh, I almost forgot to mention my background. I was born in a small village in Belarus. When I was five years old, my parents made the courageous decision to leave the country, hoping to provide their son with a better future. We landed in Salzburg, a charming city in Austria, where I spent most of my childhood. Despite having almost nothing when we arrived, my dad worked tirelessly to ensure our family had a good life and inspired me to pursue my passion for art. I’m immensely grateful for that

The name “Slon” and my logo originated from my childhood fascination with graffiti. I was searching for the perfect graffiti name, and it was essential for me to have a unique graffiti character. Suddenly, my dad inspired me with a simple sketch of an elephant, and I instantly knew this was the one. Since then, I’ve never stopped drawing elephants and writing “SLON” in various styles, from traditional graffiti to entirely abstract ones.

Throughout the years, I’ve developed an interest in various mediums and styles, continuously working to enhance my skills and explore as many new things as I can. So, there you have it: I’m an artist who loves experimenting with different mediums and discovering new ways to create intriguing pieces. I’m also an adventurer, constantly seeking new experiences and pushing my limits whenever possible.
